Your French score, in NCLC and CRS points
Turn your TCF Canada or TEF Canada results into NCLC levels, then see how many extra Express Entry points your French can earn. Free, no sign-up, nothing you type leaves your browser.
1. Score → NCLC converter
Based on IRCC's language test equivalency charts. TEF results issued after December 2023 can show more than one score column; for your Express Entry profile, follow IRCC's instructions on which to enter.
2. French bonus points estimator
For candidates whose first official language is English, with French as the second.
Point values from IRCC's CRS criteria (checked October 2026). This shows the points French adds, not your full CRS score: age, education, work experience and job offers count too, and IRCC changes how work experience and job offers are scored on November 3, 2026. If your French is stronger than your English, IRCC may treat French as your first language, which scores differently. For your full score, use IRCC's official tool on that page.
Short of NCLC 7 in a skill? Francora's course and mock exams follow the real TCF and TEF format, and your plan shows which skill needs the most work. The first chapters are free.
